    I live in a village called Bellapais, after the Abbey of the same name, nestled just below the Kyrenia Range of mountains in Cyprus

    @Liliaku

    What is your opinion of the HOllywood interpretation of the Vlad Dracul legend? What were you taught about him when you were in school (what we call 'elementary school')?

    This church is remarkable! Seven centuries!

    (Sorry, no exotic scenery where I live... At least not in this weather where all you want to do is run inside as quickly as you can...)

    Robin Hood country for me! I was born in Sherwood, Nottingham, England and still live within a couple of miles from there.

    Here is a picture of the Council House and Old Market Square in the middle of Nottingham. Will find a picture of my immediate home or take one when the weather improves.

    Hm. Well next time it snows here (we had a freak storm in October and nothing else since) I want to try zooming in on a street lamp with a few different settings. We don't have such nice ones here, though...

    Just came back from my holiday in the Philippines. I bought the S95 just before, and I'm so happy with it. I've made so many amazing pictures and this is one of them;

    Originally from New Zealand but bought my S95 not long after moving to the UK. I now live in Chester, only a short walk away from the church in Christleton that I recently posted in the B&W section :)

    This photo is from one evening in the town centre while the Christmas lights were still up.
